I was able to talk through my problems with Mr. Sholmes, so I must thank you for the guidance. Of course, it is still difficult to think that. . . we failed to solve two of the murders this weekend. It's hard to imagine that we could be wandering around talking to someone who helped kill Mr. Roxis or Miss Ulrika.
... Indeed. It saddens me greatly, as well—to think we failed to deliver them the justice they deserved. [ a small, quiet exhale. ] I can only hope they forgive us for it, and that those responsible come to light soon.
More than anything, I'm simply curious. It's obvious Suigetsu-san did this for his own selfish reasons, but I can't tell whether all three were really motivated by something awful.
If we'd done better at putting it together, we might have more insight in what's really happening here.
Yes. 'Tis not a power, exactly, but more of a tool. One that can pinpoint the most vital piece of evidence we have, or—in the instance of more than one case we must solve—tell us which one any given evidence is relevant to. I do believe it could aid us on what to focus on.
That seems quite useful indeed. I've since learned we were mistaken to think Mr. Roxis and Mr. Revali were tied together. . . perhaps your item would have helped us avoid that misfortune.

Rest assured, I will be well. It is rough, I will not deny, but I've full intention of persevering 'til we finish what must be done here.

That is much easier said than done.

I suppose. . . you said something about having a power from the watchers? To examine a piece of evidence?
