[Susato can be found after execution on her own in the solar, piecing through some old books. Ryutaro, in hare form, is curled up at her side. She will glance up when someone comes in the door, wiping at her face.]
[ He can't move quickly with an injured leg, but he can at the very least get around with a crutch. Some might argue Alphinaud is better off elsewhere, but... well, he'd like to get out for a little bit, even if it means heading into a musty shop. Not that there's a lot that isn't musty. ]
—Oh. Pray excuse me, 'twas not my intent to startle you.
[ And, coincidentally enough, Alphinaud comes passing by, Esmerie trotting along beside him. In his venture a familiar face comes into sight. ]
Greetings, Miss Susato! Enjoying the view?
[ Unlike earlier in the week, he's now able to go about on both feet again, as if he had never sustained any of the injuries taken over the previous weekend. ]
[ Saying the grand salon, because comfy couches. He's chilling out with a book and Esmerie curled up by his side. ]
Of course. You are more than welcome to join me, should you wish. [ Today has been kind of butts, but he manages his usual pleasantness, at least. ] What have you there?
[ If there's one thing Alphinaud wants to do after that execution, it's get away from the scene the moment he's able. And then after that...
He doesn't really know where to go from there, but he does take a while to aimlessly wander. At some point during this venture, after stopping at a fountain, he does look up from the rippling waters to spot a familiar face wandering by. ]
'Tis good to see you are looking better, Miss Susato.
[ like... physically, at least. especially if she's walking about. ]
[She'll come and find him sometime later that day, after the execution. She looks tired, and Ryutaro, sitting on her arms in his hare form, is subdued.]
[ He can be found fairly easily at the Pegasi tavern, seated alone at a table—or, well, Esmerie is with him at least, the small carbuncle sat beside him on the bench. In hand he has a small mug of something alcoholic; nothing unusual for him, really, but it's definitely been that kind of weekend.
He'll look up when called, equally fatigued, but it was never his wont to turn down her company. ]
A pleasure to see you, as always. What's the occasion?
[ Early in the morning, Alphinaud arrives in the dining room with a sleepy carbuncle trotting behind him. After ordering a cup of tea, he makes his way around to the table Susato sits at. ]
Good morning, Miss Susato. You mind not if I join you?
[Susato is already awake, having a tea and a waffle for breakfast. Ryutaro also isn't sleepy, his long fluffy ears perked up as he turns to watch Alphinaud from his perch on the table]
Good morning, Mr. Alphinaud. You are more than welcome.
[[Well, here's Susato, rushing around trying to make sure everything is in order and reading for the living. Wagahai is trailing after her. But when she sees Alphinaud, she'll glance up in surprise.]
[ He isn't exploring the place so much as he's trying to stand somewhere out of the way, and hopefully out of sight. At the edge of an old building, muttering something to Esmerie—but it's not the greatest of hiding spots, given that Susato finds him. ]

Good day, Miss Susato, and quite indeed! Who could have known there was yet another abandoned city, this time settled at the bottom of the sea?
